There’s a new public museum called the Broad currently being built in Downtown Los Angeles on Grand Avenue. This three-level facility will consist of 120,000 sq feet with approximately 50,000 sq feet being designated for gallery space, a lecture hall, museum shop and an area for the public to display artwork.
Not only will The Broad display art, it will also have art storage along with a state of the art archive. This will allow scholars and curators to research and borrow artworks for their institutions.
